Tagged...

My friend Jeanne has  gone and tagged me; so here are the rules;

Go to your Picture Folder on your computer or wherever you store your pictures.

1. Pick the 6th Folder, then select the the 6th picture in that folder.

2. Post that picture on your blog and the story that goes along with the picture.

3. Tag 6 other people that you know or don’t know to do the same thing and leave a comment on their blog or an e-mail letting them know you chose them.

I have tagged:

Loretta - a new online friend who has lots of energy and very crafty ideas!
Gloria - who is always up for a challenge... I think she's a little competitive, and very creative!
Sherri - who LOVES flip-flops and card making and life in general!!!
Debby - who lives in Israel, and always has such kind words for her online friends and creates fabulous cards with Magnolia images.
Melisa - who loves coffee almost as much as I do!!!  Who built us a new online home and is all around fun, funny and amazing!!
and of course Jeanne - who started this whole thing!!!  Jeanne you are such a hoot, I love playing games with you and have truly enjoyed getting to know you better these last few months... thanks for being my friend.

I've been tagged!! By Jeanne, an online friend who loves MB games as much as I do!!! Plus we're the same age, but we live on opposite coasts!! So I've never been tagged and I had to ask her what that meant, but then I went to her blog and found it!! So here goes......

This is my youngest DD and her husband of just two years.
On December 23, after my other DD and her family arrived in Grants Pass for Christmas, we had family photos taken. We had not gotten all of us together for pictures since both of my girls had gotten married in 2006, plus Ethan was born that year!!! Of course it was very busy at the photo place and they were running behind. Our appointment was for 5:30 pm and now it was 7:00 pm and we were just getting started with photos. We had all worn black by pre-arrangement, and we were using the white background for contrast. Well youngest DD wanted a snowy, streetlight background instead. After we finished having our pictures taken and were previewing them, we realized that youngest DD's photos didn't really fit with everyone else's as they had a different background.... so they asked the photographer if she could take a couple more photo's (we were the last appointment of the day). The photographer graciously agreed (we tipped her ) and this is one of the photos from their 'second session'.
They both look so tired as were all of us, and neither of them is really happy with their photos with the white background.... BTW Ethan did good, even though we didn't get dinner till 8:30 pm that night!!!

Now I need to 'tag' six other people... that will have to wait till tomorrow... Good night!

Shortcuts Frosted Card

This card is a lift from Carla's blog.  While she used a sheet of Shortcuts frosted, I have had several frosted card bases from Shortcuts.   I haven't really been able to figure out how I wanted to use them, but this was perfect!!!  It was quick to make and turned out quite well!

Materials: Shortcuts frosted card base, Basic Grey Phoebe pp & alpha's, Bazzill CS, Nesties Label One, Prima's, Daisy Bucket rub-on flourish
